What a pity...we are connected with Pierre from many weeks for the Tuamutu project, we joined together in Mexicali despite the covid problems and spent 2weeks n half in Puerto Penasco to prepare the boat for 4 month minimum of cruising; his love for sailing and long experience pushed him to learn all our boats routine twice quicker than anybody,  the team was adjusting everyday better an above all... he managed yesterday to cook a delicious bread...What else for a french yacht ?

But...after one week out of any connection,  bad family news arrived from Bruxelles with the morning internet connection...he has to leave asap..

.sometimes, when retired with no more job imperatives, we can underestimate our family links, and overestimate our real disponibility...

Early Leaving from PARTIDA...nothing ll come out from the fishing line...

...Pierre does'nt know its his last daysailing with ALCYONE...

No lazzy code 0 today again but a short n rough heading with 2 reefs...

...until we reach the flat waters of Bahia de Los Angeles

Landing in "BOL", you cannot miss famous "Guillermos"...

...offering best local whales bones display...

...Fine mexican food including local "Callos"...

...and Internet connection with a view on your yacht...

Fortunatly or not, this internet connection is fatal for the project with Pierre...a quick talking with his wife and there is no other choice for him that returning home"asap".

Shortest way to reach Brussel is via TIJUANA; bus travel along the transpeninsular road 1 hour away from here in Punta Prieta but no Uber neither Taxi around (BOL has only 1000 inhabitants). Police is very helpfull to solve the situation; Pierre ll leave next day and we both with Helena overnight a second time here for security...this time  fortunatly without "Elefante", this 40+gusts local wind blowing offshore from 17h to early morning...
