The Boat is in good condition immaculate inside...but very dirty outside, no doubt: PUERTO PENASCO is in the middle of the desert !
2/3 weeks are normal to prepare quietly the cat; this is the time we need to prepare and a quasi 8 month autonomy without touching any marina. This time we are 3, we ll carry another outboard, another gas bottle and more food. We ll just make a top up in Puerto Vallarta end of the month before heading to Gambier.
The shipyard has an incredible potential with cruisers: Super location out of the hurricane belt, not far from USA, quick delivery from Dan Diego, Phoenix or Luckeville, relative cheap mexican prices...Salavdor 3 (third of the CABRALES generation) can move this ex shipyard for shrimpers in a mecca for cruisers. lot of work, but after only 3 years, there are already 70 boats here...

In fact, the old furler worked a lot from Auckland to Vancouver and aluminium sections of profile turned a bit beginning to deteriorate the jib boltrope; classical, but what is incredible is that we did'nt notice this problem, 10 month ago when covid pushed -derigging
