We say good bye to our friends in La PAZ airport n prepare our trip north: This time from False Bay: no need to enter in the laguna again; here is a safe place for our dinghy under a mangrove tree on the nice beach of SALVADOR, a perfect internet connection n a less than 30mn access downtown with UBER...in fact we know where to go: WALLMART for the best choice of food n morning mercado ABASTOS for the fresh veggies fruits. we know also which quantity of fresh goods we can keep on board during BAJA winter, playing  between our cockpit nets n the  fridge: This ll give us one month+ of fresh food on board:

10 days of advocados (15), 3 weeks of cucumbers (21) or radish, 4 weeks of kiwis (36), 5 weeks of grapefruits (36) n 6 weeks of red cabbage (2)...

The hull must be scrapped too: the antifouling is 2 years old n this must be done now every 2 weeks...no way to escape the shorty n the top as the water is around 20 degres and a

bout 2 hours per hull are necessary to do a perfect job...but no way to do it now as I m a bit seek, I ll do this later...

Before leaving on 14th february , Helena is lucky enough to find in the local pharmacies 2500 anti coronavirus mask n can send it to Hong Kong by DHL...Shortage in Hong Kong but also in Canada n Australia...

We rush north as we know already a big part of the anchorages south of ISLA SAN JOSE with only one stop in ESPIRITU SANTO...to scrap the hulls.

Best spots are just south of SAN MARCIAL,

Pause in FALSE BAY...ALCYONE is not the only one...these shy girls never land on board on the first days...

At least a starproduct for DHL; this family is also sending masks to China...

...last shot before leaving FALSE BAY...our final destination this season is PUERTO PENASCO in the top North...

...first step: PUNTA DISPENSA, on southern tip of ESPIRITU SANTO...

...A view to SE a nice spot to watch BAJO DE SAN LORENZO...but ALCYONE ll move north quick...

After a good part of motoring with prefectly cleaned hulls, ALCYONE arrive at the NW Sandspit of ISLA SAN JOSE closed -as no choice -of this venerable lady: As nice to see, as to hear the sweety soft noise of her diesel...Superb !

the same spot as "Marlboro country"in the evening with danger from above but also under the surface:  These tiny fishes are the main meal of pelicans  but also a good diet for the jacks...what a life !

...Back to the mainland TEMBABICHE...

With la sierra de LA GIGANTA in background, the 3 miles north of TEMBABICHE provide scenic anchorages ...

...The lagoon of TEMBABICHE is protected but doesnt show a lot of life...

...but in Puerto de LOS GATOS, the numerous pelicans ll do the show just in front of ALCYONE...

Just miss following pictures if you don't like pink n pelicans...my problem is to make a choice in the diving festival...

The beach of PUNTA SAN TELMO is one of the best...

...we could even have a short swim without wetsuit...

...another team of Pelicans, is diving from higher...n the old NIKON can't stop...

...We can fish too...baliste n pargos for dinner...

...side walk in the small  arroyo...no way to find water now here !

Apart the short passage of a kayak, we are alone and the feeling we get in this magic place  ll be difficult to surpass

A big northern arrive; SAN MARCIAL is a perfect n huge anchorage...

...much better than famous PUERTO AGUA VERDE except if you anchor very closed to the others boats...

...as closed to the beach you can...not enough space for us...

..the time to walk along the beach n around the hill above this semi oasis...

the dock (logical), but also for compulsory moorings ?

...fortunatly there is an alternative for NW n N wind protection 1 mile in the south...not as scenic but efficient !

...n we sail to south of S CATALINA...the northern is already in action!
