1807 TO NW VANUA BALEVU
It's time to leave FULAGA probably for ever; we have not so much time with Jim and decide to sail to the north of the LAU. An pleasant overnight sailing lead us to the VANUABALEVU ; but NW entrance is far to be easy even with good light because the water is not so clear; we land in the village of DAICONI to present our kava before finding an isolated anchorage not far from the pass.
Pass of FULAGA: clear and without danger... with good light
Entrance NW of VANUA-BALEVU was much less clear that this one and a the local fisher help was very welcome

DALKONI, "village of entry" controlling all nothern VANUABALEVU
What is missing in this village ?
JIM's joy with dinghy exploration in pure nature: nobody around as anchoring safely is not so easy in NW island

Flying foxes, neighbours, unfortunatly now disappeared from SAVU SAVU with the construction of the new marina
Very good spearfishing with clear water on closed reef barrier of the NW pass, but at anytime...
