DAY 1

Aline and some Moth Europe join the party

As in Cannes last year, more than 400 dinghies meet in Marseille for the last race of the season: "La finale  de ligue" . Almost all light floating devices from OPTIMST to HOBIE CATS can compete during this week end round famous spot of Roucas Blanc. The "PACA league PACA is the largest in France and the event attract boats as far as from Switzerland.

On the dock or around a pasta party, this is also opportunity for each one to meet his former OPTIMIST teamate which is sailing now on board,  laser, 420 or 29er...

"Finale de ligue PACA": For sure the biggest dinghie's melting pot of the year betwen Monaco and Marseille !

League'staff with a new experience.but with almost 400 dinghies n numerous podiums to prepare this is not the only job !

This first day gave some wind but tricky conditions...What a show when everybody sailed back to the shore.

As impossible to cover everything offshore, we gave an idea of the event on shore covering 100% of league's Podiums and shot around 420 as usual.

DAY 2

King Mistral killed the clouds after the morning squalls and gave better wind conditions than on saturday. If OPTIMIST n BOARDS were out of reach for us we could have a short visit to the CATAMARANS, only for a start after a partial casting when leaving the club: A very poor tribute for all these racers welcoming you with  big smiles and hawaian shaka. Then we concentrate on 420 but could shot 29ers, EUROPEs  and the 3 LASER series.

About 420, b

efore the last race of the day,  the 3 best crews got exactly the same points as the saturday leader Maxime PEDRON/Ange Loup STIMBRE capsized in the morning 4th race.

With a weakening mistral, The 5th race made the difference, only on the last downwind mark when Jim VINCENT/Victor MAS managed to surf a bit faster and engage on Theo GRACIANNE/Alexandre BADRI to pas the finish line a bit ahead.

This last PACA competition gave exactly the result of the season. About ladies, Pauline FAUROUX/Capucine RAGUET confirmed their avantage by windy conditions on Jessie KAMPMAN/Lea SIBERTIN and Lou Anne MORIN/Swan COSTE. 5 of these 6 crews training in SRA Antibes with Julien LACAZE
