DAY1: MISTRAL
Third and last "Interligue" of the season in this unusual and beautiful spot of "Les Sablettes".
Wich westbound med cruiser never stop here for a night or more waiting for less Mistral ?
Mistral is catching up on this saturday; staff safely organized short distance races... with more turns; a good choice as 2 races could be completed even if wind pushed some crews to sail back, organized capsizing parties, broke a mast but offered nice shots !
DAY2: MISTRAL AGAIN
Second day offered even more spray with 3 races. A lot of action again and mistral pushed everybody closed to the limit; capsizing did'nt forget most part of the fleet.
When wind delivered got some gust at more than 30k...it was no reasonable to start a 4th race and everybody sailed safely back to the beach....and relax before next and last day of this IL expecting a softer weather forecast.
DAY3: MISTRAL AGAIN...AND AGAIN
Light crews could enjoy 15kn for a few minutes before a new war started with gust as powefull as yesterday.
The big fight between 2 leaders from Antibes turned to the advantage to Jim VINCENT/Victor MAS despite constant better start from Maxime PEDRON/Ange Loup STIMBRE.
Behind two boats offered also a nice show, and Jules DEVIC/Lucas BECKERS from Maugio got the 3rd place of podium in front of Noam BLOCH/Antoine CHOLLEY from Aix/Gap.
About ladies, Pauline FAUROUX/Capucine RAGUET (UY CANNOIS/NEPTUNE CLUB) finished 8th just in front of Jessie KAMPMAN/Lea SIBERTIN-BLANC (SR ANTIBES/YC CANNES). Local light crew Lou Anne MORIN/Swann COSTE managed to finish 11th and complete the podium.
