23 april morning: A very short sailing to Nuevo Vallarta with the landbreeze, a very friendly custom n immigration visit, we anchored a bit in the front of NUEVO VALLARTA to hide the heavy 15cv Yamaha enduro engine in the starboard bilge to reduce the wight on the davits and we leave Banderas bay...the first routings send us all westward of the direct road: a confortable option for us with a friendly NE wind but dangerous as sailing to much westward ll exposed ALCYONE later more south after the doldrum to south then SSE winds...we choice to stay just on the north border of the rain, and to dive later straight southward,  as late as possible but before reaching the 120 longitude meridien.

The 10k landbreeze are perfect until 9h00 when we must see the mexican authorities...

No sleep on first night as crossing the busy cargo (panamax) road...

...but after 2 sailing days almost no more risk...

...Helena is now the queen of Guacamole !

...still a good westward speed on a flat sea...

...Alleluja...First real rain since many weeks for ALCYONE !

...diving an unusual way... like a jumbo seacrash...

Our SW road: easy n fast but...one day we have to sail south to the doldrum...

...Easy to understand: South, then SE wind wait for us on the other side !

sailing WSW on the side of the system was confortable, but now its time to dive southward !
