Alain come with us:  he live in Noumea from dozens of years and could never circumnavigate the island...This is the best time to do it and his motivation is impressive; we left Noumea with strong conditions to arrive asap to OUVEA. Baie de Prony is a perfect spot to wait in protected anchorages before sailing through Havanna pass. We did'nt wait too much n with 25+ wind, the pass was really impressive:  The 16meters  of ALCYONE look really short in these step waves, but it was the price to pay to arrive in Ouvea after an overnight bumpy ride.
