From KLAKISH INLET, only 2 steps separate ALCYONE fom cape SCOTT, top NW of VANCOUVER island;  my obsessionnal quest to find other bears, using the tiniest chunks of rivers  is vain but the miles inshore with the dinghy give others rewards. This country is really beautifull, even with grey weather ! WINTER HARBOUR seems to live better than the last visited community; this inlet is huge but fog is more n more present.

WINTER HARBOUR is often visited by small cruise ships

...but here, sometimes, the whole morning is necessary to dissolve the fog...

...this don't affect the noisy  local family of sea otters,  on the way of the local community store: the  OUTPOST

The place is not everywhere designed for tourism and if you want

fresh food, you better buy on the arrival day of the supply boat.

Sea otters still on a party: Noisy, almost arrogant, but...

...so fun to watch as showing a lot of human behaviours

Running back from long and narrow AHWICHAOLTO INLET...no bear too here !

But despite some recent special mountain "carving", the place around is nice and wild
